HIS Honor the Superintendent directs me to notify that the following Reserves have been made, in accordance with the 48rd Clause of the Waste Lands Regulations of the Province of Canterbury:—
Sixty acres—Situate at Duck’s Foot Bay, Banks’ Peninsula, having about fifteen chains frontage on the road reserved along high-water mark, and extending south-westerly forty chains on the average, north-west of, and adjoining, 11,115, subject to roads, if required on survey, and numbered 12,214—Payment to J. E. Thacker, for work on the Okain’s Bay Road, executed by him under contract with the Government.
Sixty acres—Situate between Okain’s Bay and Duck’s Foot Bay, Banks’ Peninsula, having about fifteen chains frontage on the road reserved along high-water mark, and extending south-westerly forty chains, on the average, the south-east boundary being five chains north-west of, and parallel to, the north-west boundary of section No. 12,210, subject to roads, if required on survey, and numbered 12,211—Payment to J. E. Thacker, for work on the Okain’s Bay Road, executed by him under contract with the Government.
Twenty acres—Situate at Okain’s Bay, Banks’ Peninsula, bounded on the northward by 4749, on the westward by the road reserved along high-water mark, on the eastward by a line in continuation of the eastern boundary of 4749, and on the southward by a line parallel to the northern boundary, to include the required quantity, subject to roads, and numbered 12,212—Payment to J. E. Thacker, for work on the Okain’s Bay Road, executed by him under contract with the Government.
Twenty acres—Situate between Okain’s Bay and Duck’s Foot Bay, Banks’ Peninsula, having about five chains frontage on the road reserved along high-water mark, and extending south-westerly forty chains, on the average, the south-east boundary being about seven and a-half chains north-west of the north-west boundary of 4784, subject to roads, if required on survey, and numbered 12,213—Payment to J. E. Thacker, for work on the Okain’s Bay Road, executed by him under contract with the Government.

E. Thacker, for work on the Okain’s Bay Road, executed by him under contract with the Government.
Twenty acres—Situate between Duck’s Foot Bay and Okain’s Bay, Banks’ Peninsula, bounded on the south-east by Section 12,215, on the south-west by a line drawn from the north-west corner of 12,215 towards the southmost corner of 12,212, on the north-east by a line 817 links distant from, and parallel to, the south-west boundary, also by section 12,213, and on the north-west by a line at right angles to the south-west boundary, to include the required quantity, subject to roads, and numbered 12,216—Payment to J. E. Thacker, for work on the Okain’s Bay Road, executed by him under contract with the Government.
Twenty acres—Situate between Okain’s Bay and Duck’s Foot Bay, Banks’ Peninsula, being bounded on the south-east by Section 12,216, on the south-west by a line in continuation of its south-west boundary, on the north-west by Sections 12,212 and 4749, and on the north-east by a line parallel to the south-west boundary, to include the required quantity, subject to roads, and numbered 12,217—Payment to J. E. Thacker, for work on the Okain’s Bay Road, executed by him under contract with the Government.
Thirty acres—Situate at Okain’s Bay, Banks’ Peninsula, bounded on the north-west by 10811 and 7915, on the north-east by 10811, and also by the road south-west of 1064, on the south-west by a line in continuation of the south-west boundary of 7915, and on the south-east by a line parallel to the south-west boundary.
