PURSUANT to the provisions of the “Auctioneers’ Ordinance,” Session III., No. 3, I hereby give notice that the undermentioned person has taken out an Auctioneer’s License for the term ending 30th June, 1869:—

HIS Honor the Deputy-Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserves, temporarily, under the 19th clause of the Waste Lands Regulations, for purposes of Protective Works in connection with the overflow of the River Waimakariri, viz.:—

No. 946 (in red).—Two hundred and forty-two acres (more or less), situate in the Christchurch District, commencing at the junction of the road forming the eastern boundary of section 2209, with the road forming the northern boundary of section 2782; thence north-easterly, following the latter road to the terrace forming the north-western boundary of section 2819; following the said terrace north-easterly to the road forming the north-western boundary of section 461; thence north-easterly along that road to section 2812; thence following the south-western boundary of
