No. 923, in red.—Sixty-eight acres
(more or less), situate in the Christchurch District, bounded on the west-
ward by section 10921, on the north-
ward by the road forming the northern
boundary of that section, on the east-
ward by sections 10255 and 4866, on
the southward by the latter section,
and by section 9069 and Reserve No.
921 (in red).

No. 924, in red.—Three hundred and fifty
acres, (more or less), situate in the
Christchurch District, commencing at
a point on the road, the same being
the northernmost corner of section
7375; thence south-westerly, following
the north-west boundary of the said
section, and a line in continuation
thereof, a distance of 41 chains; thence
south-easterly, following the road on
the south-west boundary of the same
section, a distance of about 31 chains;
thence south-westerly at a right angle
to the north-east corner of section
6417; following the northern boun-
dary of that section, and of section
9677, a distance of 70 chains; thence
north-easterly, following the south-east
boundary of section 12281, a distance
of 8 chains 32 links; thence following
the north-eastern boundaries of sec-
tions 12281, 12477, and reserve No.
917 (in red), to the south-west corner
of sections 12487 and 12488; thence
following the southern and eastern
boundaries of those sections to Bealey’s
road; thence north-easterly, following
that road to the one first mentioned,
and from thence returning along the
same to the commencing point.—
Subject to a road.

No. 925, in red.—Thirty four acres,
(more or less), situate in the Christ-
church District, bounded on the south-
eastward by section 7801, on the north-
eastward by the road forming the north-
eastern boundary of that section, and
on the westward by the eastern boun-
dary of I.P.R.G. on run No. 37a, and
a line in continuation of the same.

No. 926, in red.—One hundred and
four acres, (more or less), situate in
the Oxford District, bounded on the
northward by the road forming the
southern boundary of section 4286;
on the westward by the road, being
the western boundary of the same
section; on the southward by the
road on the northern boundary of
section 7847, and on the eastward by
sections 4525 and 7405.

No. 927 in red.—Five hundred acres
(more or less), situate in the Oxford
District, bounded on the northward
by the Harewood road, by Rangiora,
and also by section No. 12,326, and
reserve No. 362 (in red); on the
westward by the aforesaid section
12,826, and by the road forming the
western boundary of reserve No. 364
(in red); on the southward by the
road on the northern boundary of
section 7847; and on the eastward by
the first-mentioned section, and also
by the road being the western
boundary of section 4286. Subject to
a road.

No. 928 (in red).—Four hundred and
ninety-eight acres (more or less),
situate in the Oxford District,
bounded on the south-westward by
the Harewood road by Riccarton; on
the south-eastward by the road form-
ing the north-western boundary of
section 8126; on the northward by
sections Nos. 8933, 9230, 6189, 6074,
and reserve 859 (in red); and on the
westward by section 6189, and the
road being the western boundary of
the reserve before mentioned.

His Honor the Superintendent directs it
to be notified that he has made the
following Reserves temporarily, under the
19th clause of the Waste Lands Regulations,
viz.—

No. 288, in red.—One thousand two
hundred and eighty acres (more or
less), situate on the north bank of
the Rakaia, bounded on the south by
the Rakaia; on the east by the Perry
Reserve now held by Flowers; on the
west by a line at right angles to the
river; and on the north by a line
parallel to and distant one mile from
the river—For railway purposes.

No. 317, in red.—All that tract of land,
being a strip of land half a mile wide,
as marked on the plan of the Railway
Commissioners, and coloured green
thereon, dated 6th February, 1864,
extending from the thirty-first mile
peg to Section No. 5800—For road,
railway, and telegraph purposes.

No. 318, in red.—All that tract of land,
being half a mile wide, on each side
of the present Railway Reserve, as
marked on the plan of the Railway
Commissioners, dated 6th February,
1864, extending from the northern
bank of the Ashburton to the southern
bank of the Orari—For road, railway,
and telegraph purposes.

No. 349, in red.—All that tract of land,
one mile wide, lying between the
rivers Rangitata and Orari, the centre
line of the same being a right line
drawn from a point on the northern
bank of the Rangitata aforesaid, one
mile above McDonald’s crossing, to a
point on the western side of the south
Railway Reserve, about thirty chains
to the southward of trig. station 4
(save and accept the freehold land),
as the same is more particularly deli-
neated on the Map of the Chief Sur-
