  1. How many Cases are there, and what are they? Give examples of each.

  2. What is the meaning of the word “Mood”? How many Moods are there? What are the particular significations of each Mood? Give examples of each.

  3. What is the use of a Preposition, a Conjunction, an Interjection? Write sentences of not less than six words, where each of the above Parts of Speech occur.

  4. Write a sentence where the Relative has a clause for its antecedent; a sentence where the word “as” has the force of a Relative; a sentence where the Relative is omitted.
