PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by a Proclamation, dated the Twenty-third day of May, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight, the Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury did prorogue the Provincial Council of the said Province till the Twenty-third day of June, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight, and the said Provincial Council did stand prorogued accordingly:

Now therefore I, William Rolleston, Superintendent of the Province aforesaid, in pursuance of the powers vested in me in that behalf, do hereby further prorogue the said Provincial Council until Friday, the Third day of July next, on which day I do hereby summon the said Provincial Council to meet, for the despatch of business, at two o’clock in the afternoon, at the Council Chamber, Christchurch.

Given under my hand, at Christchurch, this Seventeenth day of June, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight.
