REMARKS.

CHRISTCHURCH.

A remarkably fine month. Rain fell on three days only, viz.: on the afternoon of the 4th, with some hail, and in showers on the 14th and 15th. The 22nd and 25th were overcast and dull; but the remaining days of the month were beautifully fine and clear, with warm sunshine and light winds.
