PUBLIC NOTICE

Public Works Office,
Christchurch, Feb. 11, 1868.

His Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserve, temporarily, under the 19th Clause of the Waste Lands Regulations, for a Gravel Pit, viz.:

No. 871, in red.β€”Six acres, more or less, situate in the Christchurch District, bounded on the north-westward by the Reserve for the Southern line of Railway, on the north-eastward by section 7416, on the south-eastward by the South Road, and on the south-westward by the road forming the north-eastern boundary of section 6363.

A portion of the above land is within Pre-emptive Right 219.

PUBLIC NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the Agency hitherto carried on in the Province of Canterbury by Mr. William Bowler, on behalf of the Liverpool and London and Globe Insurance Company, has been discontinued, and that the Power of Attorney to the said William Bowler has been revoked.

And notice is also hereby given that, until further notice, the Agency will be continued by Mr. John Cameron, who has been appointed temporary Agent.
