His Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that Monday, the 16th instant, being the Anniversary of the Foundation of the Settlement, the Public Offices will be closed on that day.

In the matter of the “Debtors and Creditors Acts.”

His Honor Edward Clarke, Esquire, in the exercise of the powers which he has been empowered to exercise under the above Acts, has appointed that the Court shall sit for the despatch of all business then accruing, on Thursday, the 23rd January, 1868, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, at the Supreme Court House, Hokitika.
