Gold Fields Secretary’s Office,
Hokitika, September 23, 1867.
HIS Honor the Superintendent, in pursuance of certain powers vested in him by “The Empowering Ordinance, Sess. II, No. 2,” directs it to be notified that the Footpath hereinafter described having been well and sufficiently made and completed for the use and accommodation of foot passengers, according to the provisions of “The Footpaths Ordinance, Sess. VII, No. 12,” is hereby declared to be a Public Footpath, and from and after the date hereof shall be deemed and taken accordingly to be a Public Footpath within the meaning of the said Ordinance.
The said Footpath is as follows:—
Extending along Gibson Quay, Hokitika, from Sale Street to Fitzherbert Street.

A N Extraordinary Meeting of the Shareholders in the above Company will be held at the Company’s Office, Ross, on the Fourth day of October, 1867, at seven o’clock p.m.
Business of the Meeting:— To increase the Capital of the Company, and to appoint Officers for the same.
