(a) DECLARATION.— I, Thomas Tierney, of Auckland, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 66 in number, marked —, on board of the vessel “Taranaki,” Captain Francis, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of the many reputed scab-destroying preparations; nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(b) DECLARATION.— I, Walter Ballantyn, for Messrs. H. Matson and Co., of Christchurch, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 250 in number, marked —, on board of the vessel “Otago,” Clayton, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of the many reputed scab-destroying preparations, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(c) DECLARATION.— I, James Smith, of Lyttelton, Agent to Messrs. L. G. Cole and Co., do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, five in number, marked —, on board of the vessel “Albion,” Kidney, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of the many reputed scab-destroying preparations, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
