Cattle found trespassing within the City may be driven to Pound between the said hours.

Every person driving, assisting to drive, or causing to be driven, any Cattle in contravention of this Bye-Law, shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding the sum of Ten Shillings per head for every head of Cattle so driven.

The Town Belt shall not be considered to be within the City of Christchurch for the purposes of this Bye-Law.

The word Cattle shall for the purposes of this Bye-Law be deemed to include all horned and neat Cattle of all ages, and of either sex, and to apply to one of any such animals driven alone as well as to a mob or herd.
