(a) DECLARATION.— I, J. F. Hindly, for A. Cox, of Raukapuka, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 2 in number, marked — on board of the vessel "Wellington," Renner, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.

Declared before me at Lyttelton, this 3rd day of October, 1866.— WILLIAM PALFREY, Inspector of Sheep.

(b) DECLARATION.— We, as Agents for Ernest Gray, of Coldstream, Otago, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 116 in number, marked — on board of the vessel "Rangitoto," J. Darke, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.
