HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has been pleased to suspend the appointment of

Neil McGill

as Pilot for the Port of Hokitika.

Christchurch, Sept. 27, 1866.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserve, temporarily, under the 19th clause of the Waste Land Regulations; viz. —

No. 785, in red.—One hundred and fifty acres, more or less, situate in the Timaru district, being bounded on the east by Reserve No. 291, on the west by L.F.R. on run 440, on the south by the Deep Creek, and on the north by a line parallel to the said creek, to include the required quantity—For the purposes of a ferry.

Majesty’s Justices of the Peace was held at the Resident Magistrate’s Court, Christchurch, on Thursday, the Fourth day of September instant, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of taking into consideration applications for Public House Licences.
