PARTNERSHIP NOTICE.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting under the style or firm of “Moorhouse and Macfarlan,” practising as Barristers and Solicitors, was dissolved on the Ninth day of June instant, by mutual consent. All business debts due to Mr. Moorhouse and Messrs. Moorhouse and Macfarlan to be paid to Mr. Macfarlan, Do Bourbel’s Buildings, Cathedral Square.

NOTICE.
In accordance with Clause 6 of “The Municipal Council Ordinance, Sess. XIV, No. 2,” we, the undersigned, householders of the Borough of Hokitika, (having signed the petition praying that Hokitika might be constituted a Municipal District,) hereby call a public meeting of householders and others who are entitled to vote for the election of members of the Hokitika Municipal Council, to be held at the Prince of Wales Opera House, on Wednesday, the 27th day of June, 1866, at four o’clock p.m., for the purpose of electing two persons to act as Assessors at the election of Municipal Councillors, and also for the purpose of nominating candidates for the Hokitika Municipal Council:

George Samuel Sale, Esq.,
to preside as Chairman at any Meeting convened, under the provisions of “The Municipal Council Ordinance, Sess. XIV. No. 2,” for the purpose of the election of Members of the first Municipal Council of Hokitika.
