NOTICE.

IN accordance with Clause 6 of "The Municipal Council Ordinance, Sess. XIV, No. 2," we, the undersigned, householders of the Borough of Hokitika, (having signed the petition praying that Hokitika might be constituted a Municipal District,) hereby call a public meeting of householders and others who are entitled to vote for the election of members of the Hokitika Municipal Council, to be held at the Prince of Wales' Opera House, on Wednesday, the 27th day of June, 1866, at four o'clock p.m., for the purpose of electing two persons to act as Assessors at the election of Municipal Councillors, and also for the purpose of nominating candidates for the Hokitika Municipal Council:

SCHEDULE A.

I the undersigned Jon SAVAGE, hereby make application to Register "The Brunner Lake Grand Trunk Water Race Company," registered under the provisions of the "Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act, 1865," and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is to the best of my belief and knowledge true in every particular, namely:—

The name and style of the Company is "The Brunner Lake Grand Trunk Water Race Company, Registered."
The place of operations is the Arnold District.
The nominal capital of the Company is Eight Thousand Pounds, in sixteen hundred shares of Five Pounds each.
