(a) DECLARATION.—I, John Scott Caverhill, of Hawkswood, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 62 in number, marked --, now on board of the vessel "Alhambra," J. McLean, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(b) DECLARATION.—I, Andrew Fallas, of Victoria, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 100 in number, marked --, now on board of the hulk "Shamrock," and lately arrived per "South Australian" from Melbourne, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.
