No. 707, in red.—Three perches, more or less, situate in the Town of Hokitika, having thirty links frontage on Revell street, and extending back parallel to Camp street a distance of sixty links in a rectangular block, the south-western corner being one hundred and fourteen links from Camp street—For the uses of a Fire Brigade.
No. 708, in red.—One rood and three perches, more or less, situate in the Town of Hokitika, having a frontage of one hundred and fourteen links on Revell street, and two hundred and twenty-eight links on Camp street, the eastern boundary being a line at right angles to Camp street—For Police purposes.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserves, temporarily, under the 19th clause of the Waste Land Regulations, as an endowment for a Classical School, as mentioned in the Resolutions of the Provincial Council of 12th and 19th December, 1865; viz.:
No. 673, in red.—One hundred and thirty-six acres, more or less, situate in the Waitaki District, being bounded on the north by reserve in red No. 641, on the west by the railway reserve, on the east by the road reserved along high-water mark, and on the south by a line at right angles to the railway reserve, to contain the quantity required.
No. 674, in red.—Sixty-three acres, more or less, situate in the Waitaki District, being bounded on the north by reserve in red No. 641, on the west and south by the Great South Road, and on the east by the railway reserve.
No. 675, in red.—One hundred and eighty-seven acres, more or less, situate in the Waitaki District being bounded on the north by reserve in red No. 635, on the east by the railway reserve, on the south by section No. 6548, and on the west by the Great South Road.
No. 676, in red.—Eighty-eight acres, more or less, situate in the Waitaki District, being bounded on the north by the southern bank of the Makihiki, on the west by the railway reserve, on the south by the northern bank of the Hook, and on the east by a line parallel to and thirty chains distant from the western boundary.
No. 677, in red.—Two hundred and nine acres, more or less, situate in the Waitaki District, being bounded on the north by the southern boundary of section No. 6548 and a line in continuation of the same, on the east by the road reserved along high-water mark, on the south by the high bank of the Hakikihi, and on the west by the railway reserve.
No. 678, in red.—Five hundred acres, more or less, situate in the Waitaki District, being bounded on the north by the southern bank of the Makihiki, on the east by the railway reserve, on the south by the river Hook and by section No. 6813, and on the west by the Great South Road.
No. 679, in red.—Seven hundred and fifty acres, more or less, situate in the Waitaki District, being bounded on the north by the southern bank of the Makihiki, on the west by the railway reserve, on the south by the northern bank of the Hook, and on the east by a line parallel to and thirty chains distant from the western boundary.
No. 686, in red.—Two acres one rood and twenty perches, more or less, situate in the Town of Timaru, having frontage on George street and King street, and being sections Nos. 445, 446, 447, 448, 449, 450, 451, 452, and 453 on the map of the Chief Surveyor of the Province of Canterbury, setting out and describing the Town of Timaru.
No. 687, in red.—Two acres one rood, more or less, situate in the Town of Timaru, having frontage to the eastern side of Edward street, and being sections Nos. 342, 343, 344, 345, 346, 347, 348, 349, and 350 on the map of the Chief Surveyor of the Province of Canterbury, setting out and describing the Town of Timaru.
No. 688, in red.—One rood five perches, more or less, situate in the Town of Timaru, having frontage on George street and the West Town Belt, and being section No. 455 on the map of the Chief Surveyor of the Province of Canterbury, setting out and describing the Town of Timaru.
No. 689, in red.—One rood, more or less, situate in the Town of Arowhenua, having frontage of one chain to the western side of Studholme street, and being section No. 149 on the map of the Chief Surveyor of the Province of Canterbury, setting out and describing the Town of Arowhenua.
