No. 692, in red.—One acre thirty-four perches, more or less, situate in the Town of Arowhenua, having frontage of five chains twenty links on Studholme Street, and of five chains thirty-eight links on Whitcombe Street, and being sections Nos. 155, 156, 157, 158, and 159 on the map of the Chief Surveyor of the Province of Canterbury, setting out and describing the Town of Arowhenua.

No. 693, in red.—One acre one rood, more or less, situate in the Town of Ashburton, having frontage on Kermode Street and on Mona Square, and being sections Nos. 31, 32, 33, 84, and 35 on the map of the Chief Surveyor of the Province of Canterbury, setting out and describing the Town of Ashburton.

No. 694, in red.—Three roods, more or less, situate in the Town of Ashburton, having frontage on West Street and Moone Street, and being sections Nos. 112, 118, and 130 on the map of the Chief Surveyor of the Province of Canterbury, setting out and describing the Town of Ashburton.

No. 695, in red.—One acre, more or less, situate in the Town of Ashburton, having frontage on West Street, Burnett Street, and Tancred Street, and being sections Nos. 180, 133, 150, and 151 on the map of the Chief Surveyor of the Province of Canterbury, setting out and describing the Town of Ashburton.

No. 696, in red.—Two roods, more or less, in two quarter-acre sections; section No. 27 situate in and fronting upon Wilson Street, and section No. 44 situate in and fronting upon Peel Street, in the Town of Geraldine, and numbered 27 and 44 on the map of the Chief Surveyor of the Province of Canterbury, setting out and describing the Town of Geraldine aforesaid.

No. 697, in red.—Two roods thirty-three perches, more or less, in three sections; section No. 116, containing thirty-nine perches, situate in and fronting upon Pine Street; section 117, containing thirty-four perches, situate in and fronting upon Pine Street and Peel Street; and section 118, containing one rood, situate in and fronting upon Peel Street, and numbered 116, 117, and 118 on the map of the Chief Surveyor of the Province of Canterbury, setting out and describing the Town of Geraldine aforesaid.

No. 698, in red.—One acre, more or less, situate in the Town of Wairewa, having frontage of four chains on Princess Street and two chains fifty links on Bealey Street, and being sections Nos. 10, 11, 12, and 13 on the map of the Chief Surveyor of the Province of Canterbury, setting out and describing the Town of Wairewa.

No. 699, in red.—Three hundred and twenty-one acres, more or less, situate in the Timaru District, bounded on the eastward by section 8258, on the northward by the road passing through that section, on the southward by the stream forming the southern boundary of the aforesaid section 8258 and also by its southernmost branch, on the westward by the continuation of the before mentioned and a line in continuation of the eastern side thereof.

No. 700, in red.—Two hundred and sixty-three acres, more or less, situate in the Timaru District, bounded on the eastward by sections 8823 and 9076, and on the northward, westward, and southward by the road forming the northern boundary of the former and the southern boundary of the latter mentioned section.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserves, temporarily, under the 19th clause of the Waste Land Regulations; viz.—

No. 701, in red.—Five acres three roods, more or less, situate at Waimate, being bounded on the north-east by High street, on the north by the Railway terrace, south, and on the west and south by the terrace or high bank—for a cemetery.

No. 702, in red.—Nine hundred and thirty acres, more or less, situate in the Christchurch district, being the old river bed, bounded on the east by the road west of Section No. 3201, on the west by reserve in red No. 825 and Bealey road, and on the northward by the high bank of the old river bed forming the southern boundary line of sections 2919, 2603, 2552, 2342, 2343, on the southward by the high bank forming the northern boundary of Sections Nos. 6099, 4911, 4910, 4842, 4634, 4069, and 2861; subject nevertheless to Reserves Nos. 325 and 326 (in red) and to section 8005—for a Rifle Range.
