Declarations

(a) DECLARATION.—I, Richard W. Morley, of Christchurch, do hereby solemnly declare that my Sheep, branded --, being 21 in number, now being in a paddock in Colombo-street South, have not within the three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within three months been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

Declared before me at Christchurch, this 1st day of November, 1865.—P. B. BOULTON, Chief Inspector of Sheep.

(b) DECLARATION.—I, David Gebbie, of the Head of the Bay, do hereby solemnly declare that I have made a complete muster of all the Sheep in my charge, and that my Sheep, branded --, being 3,000 in number, now being at the Head of the Bay, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within three months been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(c) DECLARATION.—I, J. H. Davidson, of Racecourse Hill, do hereby solemnly declare that my Sheep, branded --, being 7,000 in number, now being at Racecourse Hill, have not within two and three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within two and three months been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(d) DECLARATION.—I, Alfred Hornbrook, of Mount Pleasant, do hereby solemnly declare that the Sheep, 3,000 in number, branded --, now being at Mount Pleasant, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within three months been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(e) DECLARATION.—I, F. H. Wilson, of Cashmere, do hereby solemnly declare that I have made a complete muster of all the Sheep in my charge, and that my Sheep, branded --, being 1,000 in number, now being at Cashmere, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within three months been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(f) DECLARATION.—I, Joseph Hill, of Avonhead, do hereby solemnly declare that I have made a complete muster of all the Sheep in my charge, and that my Sheep, branded --, being 700 in number, now being at Avonhead, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within three months been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

JOSEPH HILL.

(g) DECLARATION.—I, Donald McLean, of Acton, do hereby solemnly declare that my Sheep, branded --, being 9,700 in number, now being at Acton, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within three months been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
