In the matter of the “Debtors’ and Creditors’ Act, 1862;” and

In the matter of Frederick John Dakins Elmer, of Rangiora, in the said district, Surveyor, a debtor.

NOTICE is hereby given that the estate of the abovementioned person has been sequestrated, by order of His Honor Mr. Justice Gresson, made on the Sixth day of October instant, on a petition filed in this Honorable Court in pursuance of the abovementioned Act, and Monday, the Eighteenth day of December next, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon, has been appointed for the hearing of such petition, at the Court-house, Christchurch.

NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of an order of this Honorable Court made in this matter on the Thirteenth day of October instant, the further hearing of the abovementioned petition matter was adjourned to Monday, the Eighteenth day of December next, at eleven o’clock a.m., at the Court-house, Christchurch.

The business hitherto carried on in Canterbury, under the style and firm of

HALL, RITCHIE, & Co.,

will, from this date, be under the name of

T. RITCHIE & Co.,

with a branch at Hokitika, Ritchie & Co.

All debts due by Hall, Ritchie, and Co. will be paid by the undersigned; and those owing said firm must be paid before the 10th instant, or proceedings will be taken to enforce settlement.
