(a) DECLARATION.—I, G. Rutherford, of Addington, Amuri, do hereby solemnly declare that the Sheep, 100 in number marked ..., now being depastured by me at the North Bank of the Hurunui, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation nor been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.—G. RUTHERFORD.

Declared before me at Hastie's, this 31st day of August, 1865.—H. RAMSAY SCARLETT, Inspector of Sheep.

(b) DECLARATION.—I, James S. McLean, of Aetna, do hereby solemnly declare that my Sheep, branded ..., being 1,500 in number, now being at Aetna, have not within two months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within two months been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.—JAMES S. McLEAN.
