HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserves, temporarily, under the 19th clause of the Waste Land Regulations;
viz.—
No. 484, in red.—Twelve acres three roods, more or less, in the Town of Hokitika, and known as Gibson’s Quay, being bounded on the south by the Hokitika River; on the east by a line in continuation of the western side of Jollie street; on the west by the western side of Wharf street; on the north by a line being parallel to, and two chains distant from the first described boundary—for the purposes of a Public wharf.
No. 457, in red.—All that tract of land three chains wide, running from the Coal Tramway Reserve to the Dalethorpe and Kowai road, the northern boundary being south of, and parallel to, and twenty chains distant from the Little Race-course hill and Kowai road—for Railway purposes.
No. 458, in red.—Twenty-five acres, more or less, being bounded on the northward by the Little Race-course hill and Kowai road; on the east and south by the Dalethorpe and Kowai road, and on the west by a straight line to include the above quantity—for Railway purposes.
