(a) DECLARATION.—I, William Gerard, of Cheviot Hills, Amuri, do hereby solemnly declare that the Sheep, 300 in number, marked —, now being depastured by me at the Hurunui, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

Declared before me at Cheviot Hills, this 28th day of July, 1865.—H. Ramsay Scarvell, Inspector of Sheep.

(b) DECLARATION.—I, G. W. McRae, of Glens of Tekoa, Amuri, do hereby solemnly declare that the Sheep, 1,026 in number, marked —, now being depastured by me at the Hurunui, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
