(a) DECLARATION.—I, Samuel Sinclair, Clerk to A. Louisson, Agent for Mr. Henry Matson, of Christchurch, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 25 in number, marked —, now being on board of the vessel “Prince Alfred,” Thomas Randall, Commander, now lying at Port Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(b) DECLARATION.—I, George Willmer, of Christchurch, do hereby solemnly declare that the Sheep, 60 in number, marked —, now being on board of the vessel “Prince Alfred,” Randall, Commander, now lying at Port Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

Fenlee, Commander, now lying at Port Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
