PUBLIC NOTICE.

Resident Magistrate’s Court,
Christchurch, July 3, 1865.

I the undersigned, Charles Christopher Bowen, Esq., Resident Magistrate of Christchurch, in the Province of Canterbury, Colony of New Zealand, do hereby, under the provisions of the 25th clause of “The Public-house Ordinance, 1863,” in that behalf made and provided, give notice that the following Licences have been withheld, and that they have been forwarded to His Honor the Superintendent.

Hotel Licences:
Noah Edgar, Tweed House, Christchurch.
Stephen Curtis, Ferrymead Hotel.

General Licences:
George Dell, Garrick Hotel, Christchurch.
William Black, Corporation Hotel, Christchurch.
Charles Smith, Spreydon Arms.
George Sampson, Lincoln Road.

Conditional License:
Goldney Brothers, Cora Lynn Station.

Resident Magistrate’s Office,
Timaru, July 4, 1865.

In pursuance of “The Public-house Ordinance, 1863,” I the undersigned, Resident Magistrate at Timaru, do hereby give notice that the undermentioned persons having neglected to apply to the Sub-Treasurer for Timaru, in the Province of Canterbury, for the undermentioned Licences, granted at the annual meeting at Timaru in May last, and to pay for the same, on or before the First day of July last, the said Licences are therefore withheld.

Thomas Procter, Waiho Hotel, Conditional License.
James Sawyer Fitch, Pareora Hotel, Conditional License.

I the undersigned, William Bergen Paul, Esquire, Resident Magistrate for the Northern District of the Province of Canterbury, Colony of New Zealand, do hereby, under the provisions of the 25th clause of “The Public-house Ordinance, 1863,” in that behalf made and provided, give notice that the following Licences have been withheld, and that they have been forwarded to His Honor the Superintendent.
