(a) DECLARATION.—I, Robert Tooth, of Canterbury, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 140 in number, marked —, now on board of the vessel “Lord Ashley,” Thomas Randall, Commander, from Auckland, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(b) DECLARATION.—I, J. R. Hill, of Christchurch, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 17 in number, marked —, now on board of the vessel “Wild Wave,” Vandervord, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(c) DECLARATION.—I, George Gould, of Christchurch, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 24 in number, marked —, now on board of the vessel “W. H. Haselden,” Commander, now lying at Lyttelton in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(d) DECLARATION.—I, William Derham, of Lyttelton, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 21 in number, marked —, now on board of the vessel “Airedale,” R. H. Ferguson, Commander, now lying at Port Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(e) DECLARATION.—We, Miles and Co., of Canterbury, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 138 in number, marked —, now on board of the vessel “Omeo,” Edwards, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
