MUNICIPAL DISTRICT of KAIAPOI

HIS Honor the Superintendent having proclaimed the District of Kaiapoi to be a Municipal District within the meaning of "The Municipal Council Ordinance, Session XIV, No. 2," we, the undersigned, being ten persons who have signed the petition for the constitution thereof, hereby convene a Public Meeting of the resident householders and landowners within such district, to be held at the Court House, Kaiapoi, on Wednesday, November 30, 1864, at 12 o’clock at noon, for the purpose of electing the members of such Municipal Council:—

G. F. Hewlings.
John Fuller.
P. L. Neilsen.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has appointed

CHARLES DUDLEY, Esq., J. P.,

to preside as Chairman at any Meeting convened under the provisions of "The Municipal Council Ordinance, Session XIV, No. 2," for the purpose of the election of Members of the first Municipal Council of Kaiapoi.
