(a) DECLARATION. — We, J. M. Heywood and Co., of Lyttelton, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, three in number, marked —, now on board of the steam-ship “Albion,” McLachlan, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(b) DECLARATION. — I, Robert Tooth of Lyttelton, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 77 in number, marked —, on board of the vessel “Airedale,” Fergusson, Commander, now lying at Port Cooper, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(c) DECLARATION. — We, J. T. Peacock and Co., of Lyttelton, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 450 in number, marked J D, now on board of the vessel “Star of the South,” Anderson, Commander, now lying at Corsair Bay, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(d) DECLARATION. — I, E. S. Dalgety of Christchurch, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 21 in number, marked —, on board of the vessel “Devonshire,” Holt, Commander, lying at Port Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
