Rangiora District.

Commencing at the cross roads near Fernside; thence following the road on the north-west side of section 4107 to the River Ashley; thence easterly along the southern bank of the said river to the eastern boundary of section 1271, following southerly along that boundary to the south-eastern corner thereof; thence following a right line to trig. station M 16; thence by the road on the north-western boundary of the native reserve to the River Cam, following the western side of that river to the road by trig. pole 17, following south-westerly along the said road to the road on the north-east side of section 1220; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of said section to the main drain reserve, following north-westerly along that reserve to the road on the north-west side of section 2865, and returning in a northerly direction along that road and the road west of section 4790 to the commencing point.

Kaiapoi District.

Bounded on the eastward by the sea; on the south by a right line drawn through trig. stations 25 and 221; thence by the south bank of the Waimakariri to a point opposite to its junction with the Kaikanui Creek; thence across the Waimakariri to the aforesaid junction, following the said creek to the point where it intersects the southern boundary of section 821, following along the southern and western boundaries of sections 321 and 425, and the southern boundary of section 395 to the southern bank of the north branch of the Waimakariri; thence northerly and easterly along that branch to a point in line with the eastern boundary of section 338e, following along the said boundary and a line in continuation thereof to the River Cam; thence following along that river to a point due west of the north-west corner of section 1822; thence by a straight line to the said north-west corner of section 1822; and thence by the southern boundary of the Woodend District to the sea, exclusive of the native reserve.

North Road District.

Bounded on the westward by the Harewood Road District; on the southward by the Papanui District and the road on the north-west side of section 1472, the southern and part of the south-eastern boundaries of section 1479, and the northern boundary line of sections 4593 and 2431, and a line in continuation of the last-mentioned boundary till it reaches the sea; on the eastward by the sea; on the northward by the Kaiapoi District; and on the north-west by the Waimakariri.

Papanui District.

Commencing at the southernmost corner of section 276, on the North Road, following along the northern boundary of the St. Alban’s District; thence following easterly along the road on the south side of sections 1052 and 1139 to the canal reserve, following northerly along the said reserve to the Purakanui stream, following westerly along the said stream to the North Road, following southerly along that road to the road passing through section 293, following westerly along the said road to the road west of section 533a, following along that road to the Harewood Road by Papanui, following north-westerly along said road to the north-western corner of section 330; thence following along the western boundary of that section and the south-western boundary line of the same section and section 323 to the southernmost corner of the latter section, following north-easterly along the southern boundary of that section to section 151; thence following along the south-western boundaries of sections 151, 135, 299, 142, and 133 to the road on the north-west side of section 7, following along that road and that portion of it on the south-east side of section 133 to the North Road before mentioned, and from thence returning along the said road to the commencing point.

Harewood Road District.

Commencing at a point on the southern bank of the River Courtenay, the same being in line with the north-eastern boundary of section 2486, following south-easterly along that boundary and the north-eastern boundary of section 4827 to the road on the western side of section 533a, following southerly along that road to the Harewood Road by Papanui, following north-westerly along said road to the north-western corner of section 330, following along the western boundary thereof and along the southern boundary of section 140 to the continuation of the road east of section 2457, following southerly along the said road to the northern boundary of section 199, following westerly along the northern boundaries of sections 199, 2710, and 3282 to the road on the west side of the last-mentioned sections, following southerly along that road to the road forming the southern boundary of section 1725; thence northwesterly along that road to the road on the north-west side of section 5523, following along that road to the Harewood Road by Papanui above mentioned, following westerly along the said Harewood Road to the south-western corner of section 6347, following northerly along the western boundary thereof to the river Courtenay aforesaid, and from thence returning along the said river to the commencing point.

St. Alban’s District.

Commencing at the intersection of the Town Belt by the North Road; following northwesterly along the said road to the southernmost corner of section 276; thence along the south-eastern boundary of that section.
