CUSTOMS NOTICE.

Custom House, Lyttelton, 29th August, 1864.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned Building, which will be known as “BESWICK’S BONDING WAREHOUSE,” has been duly approved and appointed, in accordance with the 11th section of “The Customs Regulation Act, 1858,” to be a Warehouse for the securing of Goods under Bond, for the payment of duties of Customs :—

The whole of a two-storied wooden building, cob-lined inside, belonging to and now occupied by Mr. John Beswick, of Timaru, Merchant, and situated at Rhodes Town, Timaru, on the eastern side of the Great North Road, near its intersection with George Street and Cain’s Terrace, and on rural section numbered 7555 on the maps of the Chief Surveyor, Canterbury, of the Timaru District.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserves, temporarily, under the 19th clause of the Waste Land Regulations ; viz.—

No. 372, in red.—Thirty-two acres, more or less, situate in the Lincoln District, bounded on the northward by section 6343, on the eastward by section 4659, on the westward by the road west of the first-mentioned section, and on the southward by the Ellesmere Junction Road—for a gravel-pit.

NOTICE.

SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND, CANTERBURY DISTRICT.

In the matter of “The Debtors’ and Creditors’ Act, 1862 (Section 8).”

HIS Honor Henry Barnes Gresson, Esq., the Judge presiding in this Honorable Court, has appointed that the Court shall sit for the despatch of business, accruing under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, at the Court House, Christchurch, on Tuesday, the Fifteenth day of November next, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon.
