His Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that in pursuance of the powers vested in him, he has appointed

Mr. Thomas Hill,

Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, to be an Inspector of Cattle under the “Diseased Cattle Act, 1861,” for the Port of Lyttelton.
