(a) DECLARATION.—I, Edwin B. Walker, of Canterbury, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 2,000 in number, marked —, on board of the vessel "Hero," Logan, commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(b) DECLARATION.—I, William Horne, of Auckland, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 30 in number, marked —, on board of the vessel "Lord Ashley," Randall, commander, now lying at Lyttelton, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(c) DECLARATION.—I, George Black, of Melbourne, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 2,600 in number, marked —, on board of the vessel "Blackbird," J. Torrence, commander, now lying at Lyttelton, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
