(a) DECLARATION.—I, W. N. Macbeth, of Lyttelton, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 82 in number, marked —, on board of the vessel “Phoebe,” Wheeler, commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(b) DECLARATION.—I, William Francis, of Melbourne, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 291 in number, marked —, on board of the vessel “Fair Tasmanian,” Francis, commander, now lying at Melbourne, in the said province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(c) DECLARATION.—I, William Jones, of Christchurch, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 32 in number, marked —, on board of the vessel “City of Dunedin,” Boyd, commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(d) DECLARATION.—I, C. Hodge, of Lyttelton, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 945 in number, marked —, on board of the vessel “Star of the South,” C. Hodge, commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(e) DECLARATION.—I, Robert Ross, of Christchurch, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 10 in number, marked —, now on board of the vessel “Rangatira,” Mundle, Commander, lying at Lyttelton in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

Declared before me, at Lyttelton, this 22nd day of March, 1864.—WILLIAM PALFREY, Inspector of Sheep.
(f) DECLARATION.—I, William Brodie, of Wellington, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 130 in number, marked —, shipped on board of the vessel “Valiant,” William Brodie, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(g) DECLARATION.—I, C. Levy Pryde, of Lyttelton, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 700 in number, marked —, on board of the vessel “William Buchanan,” Pryde, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
C. LEVY PRYDE.
Declared before me, at Lyttelton, this 29th day of March, 1864.—WILLIAM PALFREY, Inspector of Sheep.
(h) DECLARATION.—I, W. N.
