REPORT OF IMMIGRATION COMMISSIONERS.

Barque "Victory."

THE Commissioners have to report their visit to the Barque "Victory" from Southampton, with Government Immigrants sent out under the regulations of the English Commissioners.

They were much pleased with the cleanliness displayed in every compartment of the vessel, and with the arrangements for facilitating the sweeping and cleaning the decks.

The Passengers spoke highly of the care and attention they had received from the Surgeon Superintendent, who reports that the Captain and Officers had given him every assistance in the preservation of health and maintenance of order.

The provisions had been all of excellent quality, and the medical comforts abundant. The distilling apparatus (Graveley’s) had worked throughout the voyage without intermission, supplying good water in abundance.

The Commissioners recommend that all gratuities be paid.
