*Declaration.--I, Charles King, for J. S. Caverhill, of Hawkeswood, Amuri, Province of Nelson, do hereby solemnly declare that I have made a complete muster of all the sheep in my charge, and that my sheep, branded JSC, being 5,000 in number, now being at the crossing of the Hurunui, Nelson, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within three months been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.

Declared before me, at Hastie's, Hurunui, this 30th day of August, 1863.

†Declaration.--I, Edward Gibson, of Waitangi North, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 25 in number, marked with a broad arrow, now being depastured by me at Rugged Ridges, Waitangi South, Province of Otago, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh, and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.

Declared before me, at Rugged Ridges, this 22nd day of August, 1863.

‡Declaration.--I, James McDonald, of Parinra Station, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 200 in number, marked with a broad arrow, now being depastured by me at Station Peak, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.
