Lyttelton, September 2nd, 1863.
DECLARATION.—I, Henry White, of England, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 370 in number, marked JR, HB, now being on board of the vessel Harriet Armitage, I. Musgrave, commander, lying at Lyttelton, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh, and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.

CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTOR.—I, Philip Baker Boulton, Inspector of Sheep, hereby certify that I have carefully examined 370 sheep, branded JR, the property of Henry White, on board the Harriet Armitage, at Lyttelton, and that I find such sheep entirely free from scab or catarrh.

Given under my hand at Lyttelton, this 2nd day of August, 1863.
DECLARATION.—I, James Dove, of Otago, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 54 in number, marked GR, on board of the vessel Valiant, Dove, commander, lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh, and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.
