has resigned his seat in the Provincial Council, as Member for the District of Heathcote.

NOTICE.

SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND, CANTERBURY DISTRICT.

In the matter of the "Debtors’ and Creditors’ Act, 1862" (Section 8).

His Honor, HENRY BARNES GRESSON, Esquire, the Judge presiding in this most Honourable Court, has appointed that the Court shall sit for the dispatch of business accruing under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, at the Court House, Christchurch, on Monday, the Sixteenth day of November next, at Eleven o’clock in the forenoon.

I HEREBY give notice that the Conditional License granted to

THOMAS B. INGHAM,

of Purau, at the Adjourned Annual Licensing Meeting of her Majesty’s Justices of the Peace, acting in and for the Province of Canterbury, holden at Lyttelton, on the Fifteenth day of April, in the year 1863, has been cancelled by the Provincial Treasurer, and is therefore absolutely null and void.
