- DECLARATION.—I, Edward Mitchell of Lyttelton, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 29 in number, on board of the vessel Austral, R. Phillips, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh, and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.

CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTOR.—I, Philip Baker Boulton, Inspector of Sheep, hereby certify that I have carefully examined 29 sheep, the property of Edward Mitchell on board the Austral at Lyttelton, and that I find such sheep entirely free from scab or catarrh.
Given under my hand at Lyttelton, this 1st day of December, 1862.

† DECLARATION.—I, Edwin Barnes Walker of View Hill, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 3080 in number, marked M O, on board of the vessel Sirocco, Derryman, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh, and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.

§ DECLARATION.—I, John Thomson, of Lyttelton, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 6 in number, now on board of the vessel Derwentwater, Commander John Thomson, now lying at Port Lyttelton in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh, and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.
