- DECLARATION.—I, Edwin B. Walker, of View Hill, do hereby solemnly declare that the Sheep, 10 in number on board of the vessel Mary Ann, — Mitchell, commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh, and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.

CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTOR.—I, Philip Baker Boulton, Inspector of Sheep, hereby certify, that I have carefully examined 10 sheep, the property of E. B. Walker, on board the Mary Ann, at Lyttelton, and that I find such sheep entirely free from scab or catarrh.
Given under my hand, at Lyttelton, this 21st day of October, 1862.

† DECLARATION.—I, John Townsend Parkinson, of Christchurch, do hereby solemnly declare, that the sheep, 16 in number, on board of the vessel Mary Ann, — Mitchell, commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh, and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.
