- DECLARATION.—I, Henry Joseph Coote, of Canterbury, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 8 in number, on board the Derwentwater (Thompson, commander), now lying at Port Victoria, in the said Province, have not within three months last past been subject to any dressing for the cure of scab, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true. CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTOR.—I, Philip Baker Boulton, Inspector of Sheep, hereby certify that I have carefully examined 8 sheep, the property of H. J. Coote, on board the Derwentwater, at Port Victoria, and that I find such sheep to be entirely free from scab or catarrh.
Given under my hand at Lyttelton this 4th day of December, 1861. P. B. BOULTON, Inspector of Sheep.
† DECLARATION.—I, Frederick Banks, of Canterbury, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 8000 in number, marked (○), on board the vessel White Star (Kerr, commander), now lying at Port Victoria, in the said Province, have not within three months last past been subject to any dressing for the cure of the scab, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true. CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTOR.—I, Philip Baker Boulton, Inspector of Sheep, hereby certify that I have carefully examined 8000 sheep, branded ○, the property of Frederick Banks, on board the White Star, at Port Victoria, and that I find such sheep to be entirely free from scab or catarrh.

‡ DECLARATION.—I, Edward Blewet Wolfe, of Melbourne, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 800 in number, marked G A and (A), on board of the vessel Harriet Hope (E. B. Wolfe, commander), now lying at Port Victoria, in the said Province, have not within three months last past been subjected to any dressing for the cure of the scab, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true. CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTOR.—I, Philip Baker Boulton, Inspector of Sheep, hereby certify that I have carefully examined 800 sheep, branded G A and (A), the property of E. B. Wolfe, on board the Harriet Hope, at Port Victoria, and that I find such sheep to be entirely free from scab or catarrh.

§ DECLARATION.—I, John Hartland, of Adelaide, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 2000 in number, marked O and A, on board the Aurifera (J. Hartland, commander), now lying at Port Victoria, in the said Province, have not within three months last past been subject to any dressing for the cure of scab, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
