DECLARATION.— John Thompson, hereby declare that the sheep on board the British Trident have not been dressed for the cure of the disease called scab or catarrh, neither have they been mixed with any sheep infected with the above stated disease.

† DECLARATION.— I, W. A. Simpson, of Newcastle, N.S.W., do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 8000 in number, marked R ° W, on board the vessel White Star (Kerr, commander), now lying at Port Victoria, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTOR.— I, Philip Baker Boulton, Inspector of Sheep, hereby certify that I have carefully examined 8000 sheep, branded R ° W, the property of W. A. Simpson, on board the White Star, at Port Victoria, and that I find such sheep entirely free from scab or catarrh.
