  • DECLARATION.—I, Frederick Burton, of Elephant Hill, Waitangi, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 997 in number, marked τ, now being depastured by me on the South side of the Waitangi, in the Otago Province, have not within three months last past been subjected to any dressing for the cure of the scab, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh, and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.     Declared before me at Wilson\'s, this 12th day of September, 1861.

CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTOR.—I, Philip Baker Boulton, Inspector of Sheep, hereby certify that I have carefully examined 997 sheep, branded τ, the property of Frederick Burton, Esq., now being depastured on the South side of the Waitangi, and that I find such sheep to be entirely free from scab or catarrh.
Given under my hand at Wilson\'s, this 12th day of September 1861. P. B. BOULTON, Inspector of Sheep.

† DECLARATION.—I, John Scott Caverhill, of Hawkeswood, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 5,220 in number, marked J S C, now being depastured by me on the North side of the Hurunui, in the Nelson Province, have not within three months last past been subjected to any dressing for the cure of the scab, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh, and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true. Declared before me at Hastie\'s, this 28th day of September, 1861.

CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTOR.—I, Philip Baker Boulton, Inspector of Sheep, hereby certify that I have carefully examined 5,220 sheep, branded J S C, the property of J. S. Caverhill, now being depastured on the North side of the Hurunui, and that I find such sheep to be entirely free from scab or catarrh.

§ DECLARATION.—I, Robert Ross, of Parnassus, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 3,450 in number, marked L H, now being depastured by me on the North side of the Hurunui, in the Province of Nelson, have not within three months last past been subjected to any dressing for the cure of the scab, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh, and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true. CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTOR.—I, Philip Baker Boulton, Inspector of Sheep hereby certify that I have carefully examined 3,450 sheep, branded LH, the property of Robert Ross, the property of Robert Ross, now being depastured on the North side of the Hurunui, and that I find such sheep to be entirely free from scab or catarrh.
