N.B.—All Sheep must be included in this return which were reported as diseased in the return for the previous quarter; if they have been pronounced clean, the date of the inspection must be given.

  • DECLARATION.—I, Edward Chapman, of Acton Station, Rakaia River, do hereby solemnly declare that I have made a complete muster of all the sheep in my charge, and that my sheep branded E C, being 1300 in number, now being on the Island in the Rakaia, have not within three months been subjected to any dressing for the cure of the scab, nor within three months been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh, and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.

Declared before me at Christchurch, this 10th day of March, 1860.

CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTOR.—I, Philip Baker Boulton, Inspector of Sheep, hereby certify that I have carefully examined 1300 sheep, branded E C, the property of Edward Chapman, now being depastured on the Island, in the Rakaia, and that I find such sheep to be entirely free from scab or catarrh.

Given under my hand at Christchurch, this 10th day of March, 1860.

† DECLARATION.—I, Edward Chapman, of Acton, on the Rakaia, do hereby solemnly declare that I have made a complete muster of all the sheep in my charge, and that my sheep branded E C, being 5300 in number, now being at Acton, have not within two months been subjected to any dressing for the cure of the scab, nor within six months been mixed with any sheep infected with the scab or catarrh, and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true.

Declared before me at Acton, this 31st day of March, 1860.

Given under my hand at Acton, this 31st day of March, 1860.
