  • Declaration.—I, John Fraser of Nelson, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 2,100 in number, marked triangle, now being depastured by me on the Hurunui River, have not, within three months past, been subject to any dressing for the cure of scab, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab, or been yarded in any enclosure wherein scabby sheep have run for three months previous to date of inspection; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

Declared before me at the Hurunui, this 24th day of March, 1860.

Certificate of Inspector.—I, Thomas Kinnersley Adams, Inspector of Sheep, hereby certify that I have carefully examined 2,100 sheep, branded triangle, the property of Mr. John Fraser, now being depastured on the Hurunui, and that I find such sheep to be entirely free from scab or catarrh.

Given under my hand at Hurunui, this 24th day of March, 1860.

‡ Declaration.—I, James Meldrum of Teviotdale Station, hereby certify that my sheep, being 1,800 in number, now running on Balmoral Downs, have not, within two months and a half, been dressed for scab, or within two months and a half, been mixed with scabby sheep; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

Declared before me at the Kowai, this 14th day of March, 1860.

Certificate of Inspector.—I, Thomas Kinnersley Adams, Inspector of Sheep, hereby certify that I have carefully examined 1,800 sheep, branded R on C, the property of Mr. Campion, now being depastured at Balmoral Downs, and that I find such sheep to be entirely free from scab or catarrh.

Given under my hand at Balmoral Downs, this 26th day of March, 1860.
