HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified for public information that the RAILWAY WORKS will be OPENED in the Heathcote Valley, on MONDAY, the SEVENTEENTH day of DECEMBER, 1860, being the day appointed for celebrating the Anniversary of the Foundation of the Canterbury Settlement.

The Offices of the Provincial Government will be closed on that day.
