PROCLAMATION.
I, WILLIAM SEFTON MOORHOUSE, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, do hereby, in pursuance of the powers vested in me in that behalf by the regulations for the sale, letting, and occupation of the Waste Lands of the Crown, proclaim and declare that the lands hereinafter described shall be reserved until the next Session of the Provincial Council, subject to the pre-emptive right No. 21, for public purposes, that is to say,—
Thirty acres, more or less, bounded on the North by sections No. 813 & 241; on the West by the Governor’s Bay Road, and on the South East by a right line to contain the quantity required.

SALE OF TOWN AND RURAL LANDS.
NOTICE is hereby given that the sections of land specified below will be submitted to Public Auction, at the sitting of the Waste Lands Board, to be held at the Land Office, Christchurch, on MONDAY, the 28th day of February, 1859, at the hour of Noon, subject to the usual conditions of sale, and in conformity with the regulations for the disposal, sale, letting, and occupation of the Waste Lands of the Crown now in force within the said province.
