between Akaroa town and German-bay, bounded on the North by the road from the old German-bay road towards Benoit's Peak and Long-bay, on the West by the old German-bay road, on the South by H. Gendrot's land (No. 24), and on the East by a line to include five acres, and numbered 114 in red on the Chief-Surveyor's map, setting out and describing the town of Akaroa aforesaid,βfor a public Abattoir.
Given under my hand this 3rd day of October, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-seven, and sealed with the public seal of the Province.
