JAMES TOWNSEND, JUN., ESQ.,
to be the Revising Officer and Returning Officer for the Ashley District, in the place of C. O. TORLESSE, ESQ., resigned. By his Honor's command,

NOTICE is Hereby Given that his Honor the Superintendent has appointed

MR. TORLESSE'S WOOLSHED,
to be a Polling Place for the purpose of the election of the Superintendent, and member of the Provincial Council of the Province of Canterbury for the Ashley District, instead of Mr. Torlesse's house.
