HIS HONOR THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified for public information that the Waste Lands’ Board will sit at the Land Office, Christchurch, every Tuesday and Friday, at 12 o’clock, at noon. The first sitting will be on Tuesday, the 8th day of April next.

PUBLIC NOTICE.
NOTICE is HEREBY GIVEN, that the “Application Book,” in which persons desirous of applying for Land under the Waste Lands’ Regulations may enter their names, will be open at the Land Office, Christchurch, on and after the first of April next, between the hours of 10 o’clock, A.M., and 3 o’clock, P.M., except on Saturdays, when it will be closed at 1 o’clock, P.M.
The Regulation relating thereto is published for general information.
Regulation No. 13.—
“A book to be called the ‘Application Book’ shall be kept open during office hours at the Land Office, in which the name of every person desiring to make any application to the Board shall be written in order by himself or any person duly authorised on his behalf. And the Commissioners shall during the sitting of the Board consider and determine all applications in the order in which they shall appear in the application book.
