NOTICE.

Superintendent's Office, Auckland,

20th March, 1855.

GRANTS of money having been voted for the undermentioned Roads, viz.,

  • The Great South Road (Waikato)
  • Road from Howick to Mokoia
  • Tamaki Road
  • Panmure and Otahuhu
  • Okahu and Howick
  • Russell-North Shore
  • Road from Beach to Church at Howick
  • Scott's Road from Panmure

Persons interested in the improvement of these Roads, who may be willing to overlook or to undertake the making of the more impassable or difficult portions thereof, are invited to communicate and co-operate with the Provincial Government.

Communications may be sent to this office.

HEREBY notify, for general information, that I have appointed the following Gentlemen to be Members of the Provisional Executive Council:

TENDERS will be received at this office until noon on Monday, March 26th inst., from persons desirous of supplying 36 pairs of Stout Boots, for the use of the Gaol.

TENDERS will be received until noon of SATURDAY, 31st March, for metalling portions of the Road between Howick and the Punt.

Specifications can be seen by application at this Office.
